A personal note

Portrait of Dr. Aida K. Martinez

Welcome — and thank you for visiting. I’m excited to share that I’ll be opening my own concierge primary care practice this December in the heart of Wellesley. Aurevia is the practice I’ve always wanted to build: a small panel, enough time with each patient, and strong, evidence-based medicine tailored to your values and goals. I hope you’ll take a look around, and I’d love to hear from you.

What is membership-based primary care?

At Aurevia Health, we’ve reimagined what primary care can be. Rather than navigating a system built around volume — where visits are rushed, availability is limited, and a physician has fifteen minutes to understand a lifetime of health history — our membership model puts the relationship between you and your doctor back at the center of your care.

By limiting the number of patients she cares for, Dr. Martinez can offer the time and attention a traditional panel doesn’t allow — and medicine that is proactive rather than reactive, anticipating what your health needs next instead of treating only what’s in front of us today. This isn’t a luxury add-on. It’s a fundamentally different way of practicing, built around knowing you well enough to help you thrive.

What are the benefits of being a patient at Aurevia Health?

Every patient at Aurevia is a member — and membership is what makes this way of practicing possible.

  • 24/7 availability

Health concerns don’t keep office hours. Day, night, or weekend, you can reach Dr. Martinez when something comes up.

  • Direct communication

No phone trees, no answering services, no messages relayed through layers of staff. You reach your physician directly, and she knows who you are the moment you do.

  • Same- or next-business-day appointments

For acute concerns, being seen quickly is the norm, not the exception.

  • Longer appointments

Visits are built for depth, not throughput: room to actually talk through your labs, your symptoms, your goals, and everything in between.

  • Minimal wait times

Your appointment starts when it’s scheduled to. A smaller panel means a calmer, more predictable experience every visit.

  • The Aurevia Annual Comprehensive Health Evaluation

An in-depth annual review that goes well beyond a routine physical.

  • The Aurevia Personalized Health Plan

Built from your evaluation and updated with you over the course of the year.

  • The pillars of lifestyle medicine

An emphasis on nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and social connection — getting ahead of disease rather than chasing it.

  • Coordination of specialty care

When you need a specialist, we don’t just hand you a name. Dr. Martinez identifies the right fit, facilitates the referral, and stays in the loop so your care stays connected rather than fragmented.

  • Support through hospitalization

If you are ever admitted, we help you understand what’s happening, what questions to ask, and what it means for your ongoing care — you’re never navigating it alone.

Medical services remain billed to your insurance in the usual way.

The physician

The practice is led by Dr. Aida K. Martinez, an internal medicine physician trained at Yale School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital. Board-certified since 2010, she has cared for patients in Wellesley for the past twelve years. A member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the Menopause Society, she brings particular expertise to women’s midlife health and obesity medicine.

Teaching has run through her career — she served as an instructor at Brown Medical School and trained Harvard Medical School students in the clinic. That academic grounding carries into the exam room: care held to the best available science, explained clearly, and aimed at empowering patients to take charge of their own health.

Individuals

$1,200 / quarter

The discounted rate is available to members who enroll before the founding membership period closes. After that, membership is offered at the standard rate shown. Discounted rates are also available for couples and families.

Membership is not a substitute for health insurance, and all members are required to maintain active coverage. Your insurance will continue to cover office visits, hospital care, specialist care, imaging, labs, and prescriptions. You remain responsible for any co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance your plan requires.

Getting started

It starts with a conversation, not a form. Once the practice opens, we’ll set up a brief, complimentary meet-and-greet — a real chance to talk, ask questions, and see whether Aurevia feels like the right fit for you. There’s no pressure either way. If it is, we’ll walk through the membership agreement together.

Connect with the practice

Share your contact information and we’ll be in touch personally — with more on the practice, membership, and founding-member opportunities — and keep you posted as opening day approaches.

Please do not include personal medical information in this form.
